Some pics as discussed on the southern amis bbs message board of the current 3D print and PCB project..
Revised Design - The Width is as wide as I can go without making this ridiculous...
FYI - This can be used front facing or rear facing given your set up. Screen will be made to flip. For my set up, I need the ports front facing...
Left to Right: Front View
1 Main Power Switch
SIO port #1
Led Indicators/Data Flicker
SIO Port #2
USB Port - to power using USB to 7 Pin Din XL/XE power supply as a replacement PSU
SIO Port #3
3 SIO rocker switches - Turn On/Turn Off SIO Ports Individulally
LED Screen - SD Drive/ WiModem Split Screen (Still working this out)
Will add Atari Logo to the Right Top Side
Left to Right:
1 Power Port = Thinking USB C Port to 5V power Brick
1 Extra SIO Port
Thank you wade. I would love to have switches on what sio ports get passed to the computer. This is for my percom dilemmas.
So might as well go bigger on the KVM style case to include USB, Rverter, Wimodem (LCD screen and LED indicators), 5v PSU, SD Drive, and make this an all in one accessory for the A8…. Thoughts?
If you can disconnect a device I'd like this. I think a better design would be to have all the ports on one side, including the inbound port. Switches on the front next to each port. Sort of like a KVM. It it splits out in all 4 directions, it will take a lot of desk real estate.
