Hey everyone, I decided to have some fun so I installed Ubuntu 22.04 and managed to get SyncTerm installed (it installed 1.2b version). Everything is working great, except when I connect to 8bit boards using ATASCII, my Backspace key doesn't do anything when I'm writing messages. If I connect using ASCII or connect to an ST board using ANSI, backspace key works fine. For some reason when I'm logged on using ATASCII, the Backspace key doesn't do anything when writing messages. Is this common and there is a work-around that I don't know about?
Thanks,
Jason
Have you tried <control> H ? Sometimes that works...
I've used Ubuntu in the past, but as for SyncTerm, I've only used it with Linux Mint... that said... I didn't have to do anything special that I recall for A8 or ST.
Sorry man.
Might play with it more later, so if this changes, I'll let you know.
