Tattler Does it Again with the SX212 Wifi Modem
Heard from Scott today on the progress of his SX212 Atari WiFi modem. Can't say enough about the awesome job on the Hayes version but the SX212 comes with something special. Just like the SX212 it comes with SIO and RS232 support. Thats right, a Wifi Modem direct on the SIO.
Will have to break out my copy of Keith Ledbetters SX Express.. Handlers for this modem a bit trickey so looking forward to experimenting with SX-212 Companion! built to use 850 Express 3.0 and maybe the Rverter drivers to see if a BBS can be run...
Assume this will start selling shortly so keep an eye on Scott's website or at the various VCF events.

Thats pretty sweet. I have the Hayes one. My only critique is some of the LEDS dont function like they normally do. Can't recall which ones off hand... Might have been CD or OH or something minor.. I THINK the send and receive data ones worked.. Would also be cool to put a random delay in the fakey audio.. Its always the same number of "rings" and delays so its not as real sounding after you hear it a few times... What is cool is the dialing sounds do vary depending on the "number" in the AT command.
