Basement and Part-Time Connectivity issues

Connectivity should now be fine. But I am still working on it. The problem was a return amp I added to the cable modem to fix its daily resetting. The cable modem's upstream voltage is too high on the cable outlet I am using. Unfortunately, it's the only outlet I can use right now. The return amp solved the resetting problem, but I suspect the amp has failed which affected my upload speed. My download speed also was a little low today too. I took the amp out and the download and upload speed have returned to their expected levels, but I suspect the cable modem will start resetting itself again at 11:30am and 12noon daily. I have another amp on order from Amazon. The one I was running is used and was purchased from eBay (since I could not find the new one on Amazon right away). Hopefully the new amp will take care of the resetting issues without cutting down on the upload speed.
