WiModem232 Pro - won't save Wifi
I mentioned this elsewhere but after talking to Jim Drew over in
the WiModem forums, I got a solution.
Here, AT*N scanning for networks does work fine. It finds everything
I have. I then have always used the "AT*NS=Wifi number, password"
to save the information. However, with the WiModem232 Pro and the
last update (and I don't know if the update had anything to do with
it or not - I just noticed it afterwards), it would not retain this information.
Every time I powered off/on, I would have to enter all the information
again.
So Jim recommended using one of the other methods.
So now, using "AT*SSID=Wifi name,password" works and is retained
after powering off/on. Jim said he would look at the other other method
and try to figure out what is going on.
Just a heads-up in case anyone else was having this problem...
