Whew, Late, Updates...

Well, I can't seem to stay on top of all the posting stuff. Better late than never I suppose.

If you havent checked out my blog site, take a look. I moved all my software from the "git"s to it, all with dedicated pages, and links to videos where applicable.

I've requested a new group here, and will post updates to it eventually - if I can remember! Doh!

For the quick info. I essentially completed by project to connect the Atari 8 bit to a modern SQL database, culminating in:

1) A command line administration interface in dBase/FoxPlus dot prompt style, complete with CRUD operations.

2) A proof of concept application that uses cubeSQL as the data store via FujiNet. The Task Manager (Fuji Do) is pretty robust and allows various sorts, tagging, and searching.

3) A spoof on the POC Fuji Do, called Fuji Poo. Yep, a poop log. Pun intended.

Then I thought of a fun addition while further honing the applications and created Dr. Love which is a sexual encounter log. This was for Valentines Day.

Those were all single table databases and I wanted to take it up a level, so I created Total Recall. This is a true multi table relational database with parent/child records across the tables. Its only two tables though. Total Recall lets you "recall" the last time you did something, in fact, every time you did something. The somethings in mind are those things that dont make it to your calendar like raking leaves, washing cars, and cleaning the house - really whatever you want.

With that working, I again wanted to bring it up a level. I've been working on a much larger relational database application - details withheld on the what for now. But it uses 8 tables with several parent child relationships.

More later...
