RamRod? Yeah this was the handle for Giarc before he was Giarc but its not a handle, its a complex operating system which can be turned on or off providing a host of advanced OS features. This was a major upgrade for the Atari 8bit back in the day. Have a look at the install.. Stacked ontop of the OS Chip, wired in and a switch added for the toggle between OS. Adding OminOn provides:

This is what one of my good friends had. Another had an Omnimon chip or board in their 800. I had a BossXL (seems like thats right), which had a 800 compatible OS and a much less featured M/L debugger (similar to Omnimon) - and did not have 80 columns.
