How to Get More Flair (and Not Lose Your Stapler)

So, you want to get more flair on the Basement?
Believe it or not, there are more ways to gain flair than to lose it on the Basement — so no need to stress. More importantly, it's just for fun. Flair isn’t meant to be taken seriously — just like it was mocked in the movie Office Space.
In addition to posting messages, flair is earned by playing online games. The longer you play, the more flair you rack up.
Everyone should check out Tom Smykowski’s Jump to Conclusions mat after logging in. There are more flair-winning squares than flair-losing ones — so take the leap.
There are also random events that give out flair. You won’t lose flair by looking inside the Basement dumpster. You might not find anything… or you might score a little flair. It’s always worth a look.
During TPS Speed Training, sometimes it’s better to type only some of the phrases correctly if it means beating the timer. Speed > perfection.
Helping Michael Bolton or Samir Nagheenajar with a paper jam?
Definitely worth it. Always offer to help. Good things happen to good people — even in corporate hell.
If Milton Waddams, Michael Bolton, or Peter Gibbons instant message you to come to their desk, go. The favors they ask can earn you a lot of flair. Usually, they’ll want you to distract Bill Lumbergh by secretly adding Ex-Lax to his coffee. You’ll have to decide how many tablets to add — a good starting point is six.
Have fun. Collect flair. And remember — the Basement Cat is always watching.
