Would it be possible to put a scheduler into busybbs? I ask because it appears a backup app was the resulting cause of forems msg bases to corrupt. It was on constant back up but I changed to to only backup at 3am. Not likely we will have callers at that time but it would be nice to set it to not take calls from say 3-3:15 to ensure altirra and backups aren’t trying to access the floppy image at the same time. Just a thought.

Since I seem to be having some dropping issues with my express cart. I am going to try to put the image onto my ultimate cart. See if my rom is fubar. But does anyone have the newer express cart rom image? Or is that only available for purchase?

Well, just thought I'd drop by and say hi. I am still alive and keeping an eye on some of the happenings just can't get to my ataris right now and work is just energy depleting. We are in full decoration mode. We actually are almost done with the inside. (Heck we started the one room before Halloween. 🤣🤣🤣🤣). Now the dreaded outside. Ugh. I was able to get win10 installed on the old Mac. The BBS's have been on that computer for a few weeks now. So far so good. I did get a few emails that it seemed to be a little snappier than before. I did have a pickle of a time to get windows to not use the discreet graphics chip. But I managed to disable the amd card and turn off automatic downloading of drivers. I have yet to run updates and reboot, but it has worked ok since I managed to get the amd card to not get used.

I'd love to see reviews of the non express BBs programs. (I think the express reviews are pretty plentiful). Amis, Carina and oasis I'd love to see what the reviews thought. Yeah I know I could search but we all know my middle name......lazy

i have a copy of win10 running but it isn't stable. I think it might have something to do with using the Microsoft display drivers. I am running on the 2011 17inch mbp. The one that had the graphics chip that takes a dump. I did have a new motherboard put in a bunch of years ago but trying to avoid using the ati chip. I couldn't get the intel chipset drivers to update. It will run then all of a sudden the computer is off. So win10 is having a problemo. I still have two old towers I can move the boards to, just too lazy to drag them out and get them up and running. Will keep yaw'll posted.

Hey it's been a minute but I was able to get some time to visit my own BBS. Saw there was a discussion on keyboard shortcuts. A few years ago I was trolling through Facebook marketplace and came across this macOS shortcut list sticker. It doesn't have every possible shortcut but it has a bunch and is a nice sticker to keep on your Mac. It is supposed be a residue free adhesive so I plopped it on my Mac. I think I paid like $5 for it and it is a nice thick sticker. Just thought yaw'll might be interested.

I also demand to know how tillek got a picture of me?!?!? I keep those under lock and key!
